Skill Building vs. Training
All of the Unleash Your Mind courses are focused on building skills. They are designed to deliver applied skills. During the workshop participants work on real world work related challenges they currently face in the workplace. They apply new skills to resolve problems in new ways. They return to the workplace and implement their solutions.
This focus on real world challenges results in immediate payback to the organization. The payback to the organization is in measurable top line or bottom line $'s. The other payback the organization realizes is longer term. The implementation of the action plans generated at the workshop demonstrates the value of the skills the participants learned and the need for them to practice using them to achieve results. In the leadership workshops the participants develop individual development plans to deepen their skills. These plans can be incorporated into the organization's workplace performance development system.
