Executive Coaching

An executive was walking through the manufacturing plant one day and one of the workers approached him and asked him:

"Why do you earn so much more than me?

His simple reply: "If you screw up badly, you lose your job. If I screw up badly, two thousand people lose their job."

There are many different perspectives on the definition of mentoring, especially since the relatively recent popularity of personal and professional coaching.

As an executive mentor I provide thoughts, feedback, and insights to the ever more challenging role of top executive. Strategic plans, critical communications and tough decisions all can be more effective when bounced off another individual.

This is especially true when they are outside the organization. Providing a new point of view or a new perspective can be refreshing or revealing. Even agreement or congruence of thoughts can be reassuring. Just the process of articulating the plan can make the difference.

Often the mentorship extends to the entire executive team. Many times it includes the facilitation of executive team offsite meetings and strategic planning sessions.

Bottom line - These workshops work.

They deliver results. They develop people. They drive creativity and innovation.
They inspire and motivate employees.
