Frank Prince Biography
Frank Prince, author, management consultant and adventurer, began his professional career with a degree in engineering, a passion for building high performance participatory teams and a commitment to providing skill building that is about delivering to the organizational “bottom-line.” An accomplished speaker and seasoned trainer in innovative thinking skills, Frank has discovered how to ignite the “spark” that motivates individuals to take the life-changing steps that move them closer to their goals.
After nine years of success building participative team-based management structures for new manufacturing facilities for Frito Lay and PepsiCo, His team building expertise enabled him to do pioneering work in high performance team development. Frank spent another five years working with organizations focused on Innovation and Creativity. He worked with the Center for Research in Applied Creativity (Ontario, Canada) as a consultant, trainer and researcher. He served as an adjunct instructor for the Center for Creative Leadership (Greensboro, NC) and as an adjunct professor for George Fox University (Newberg, Oregon) teaching "Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship." He also taught "The Creative Manager" course at Motorola University. Frank is now a Master Instructor in Creative Problem Solving and has trained well over 10,000 individuals.
Frank's tools and credentials include mastery in a myriad of inventory methodologies (Myers-Briggs, Firo-B, Strengths Deployment and the Kirton Adaptation Innovation Inventory), He is also a certified hypnotherapist and uses hypnosis to empower, motivate and help individuals in both their business and personal life He has worked on everything from fears and phobias to public speaking and Olympic athletic performance. His published audio CD series, “Speed Sleep” and “Speed Sleep II” have helped over 25,000 individuals improve sleep quality and gain healthy eating habits. Frank also spent three years with Golf Magazine researching the mental side of golf and has developed a training program titled “Thought Free Golf” which develops a consistent thought routine for golfers to bring their best driving range swing to the first tee.
Proficient in advanced communications techniques, Frank is a certified master practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). NLP is a science that studies the way people process information and how they prefer to use that information to take action. This science can improve understanding of consumer behavior. Frank is also trained in Face Reading through the FBI as an advanced communications tool. Frank conducts courses which teach Sales People how to “Read their Customers Mind”.
Frank has authored over 30 books and articles. His best seller, C and the Box is described as “an elegant approach to paradigm shift thinking”, it has helped thousands learn to look at their life situations creatively. He was selected to be a publishing author in the first edition of the book Blueprint for Success, a highly successful book series. The book is co-authored by best selling authors Stephen Covey (Seven Habits of Highly Effective People) and Ken Blanchard (One Minute Manager). . Frank has also co-authored a book with Dr. Kobus Neethling titled Whole Brain Sexuality from Carpe Diem Publishers, which has already become a best seller and is published in two languages. This book explores creativity and relationships.
As president of Unleash Your Mind Consulting, Frank conducts skill building within organizations in the areas of innovation, leadership and strategic planning. These skills transform an organization to a true "Idea Factory" that achieves bottom line results. Idea factories implement processes that create sustained innovation making them more and more successful over time. Frank’s expertise in group facilitation techniques permits specific application of his skills in conducting executive team leadership sessions. These sessions focus on top management decision-making and strategic planning. By helping business leaders learn to predict the future of their organizations Frank enables them to seize strategic windows of opportunity. He also conducts Strategic Innovation workshops that drive innovation within companies and are guaranteed to generate a return on the investment.
His clients include several Fortune 100 firms including Time Inc., Procter & Gamble, Perrier, PepsiCo and Nabisco. He serves as a Colleague and leader for the Creative Education Foundation and is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists. Frank is a frequent keynote speaker around the world focusing on innovation techniques for individuals and organizations. He has delivered keynotes at conferences in South Africa, Turkey, Japan and throughout the United States and Europe.
For relaxation, Frank's interests focus on off-road motorcycle adventure riding. In 1995 he finished third in the “San Felipe 250”, second in the “Baja 500”, and he won his class in the 1150 mile "BAJA 1000" off-road motorcycle race thus winning the Desert Championship series for 1995. He also completed a 5100 mile off-road ride through Africa in 1997. Frank ran on a dog sled team in the Alaskan Iditarod Race in 1998. In 2000, he completed the Nevada 2000 mile off road race which circled the state of Nevada. In 2003 he traversed the Costa Rican rain forests and 2005 was the crossing of Iceland by 4X4. In 2007 he ran the 50th anniversary 1200 mile Baja race and took 6th place. Future adventures planned are New Zealand top to bottom off road and circumnavigating Australia.
